Miranda Xu, a classically trained pianist since age 4 and composer since 14, holds a bachelor’s degree from NYU and dual master’s degrees from USC and Berklee.

As a former A&R and in-house producer at Sony Music Entertainment, she has collaborated with global artists across genres such as pop, R&B, hip-hop, electronic, and ballad. With additional experience in Hollywood’s film scoring industry, Miranda is skilled in orchestral composition and has contributed to numerous projects as a film composer.

As a music educator, Miranda has taught piano at various institutions in NYC, working with students aged 3 to 35. Her teaching philosophy blends traditional techniques with creative approaches, customizing lessons to align with each student’s individual learning style and goals.
